Come to this year's Labor Day Fair featuring country gospel singer, Susan McEntire, the sister or Reba McEntire. Additonal 4-H sponsored activities include a Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Face Painting and more. Picnic food and beverages are available for purchase. Bring your own picnic blanket or lawn chair. Cost is $10 per carload.


English as a Second Language Class

English as a Second Language Classes will again be offered free of charge to the surrounding community starting Friday, September 10. The Class will meet every Friday at 7:00 PM. The building is handicap accessible. The program will again be directed by Mr. Juan Vasconez who has been a teacher for over 35 years. With a Masters Degree in Bicultural / Bilingual Studies from LaSalle University, he presently teaches ESL (English as a Second Language) for the State of New Jersey.

Class registrations can be placed by calling the church office at 856-691-3460. The community is invited to take advantage of this community service.

Bridgeton Public Library will be hosting Preschool Story Time, Story and Crafts, and Baby Time during the month of September.

Preschool Story Time: Tuesdays, September 14, 21 and 28 at 10:30 am. Children ages 2-6 and a caregiver are invited for stories, songs, finger plays, crafts and a snack. Story time is free and registration is requested.

Story and Craft: Tuesdays, September 14, 21 and 28 at 10:30 am – Kids ages 7 and up are invited to share stories, activities and crafts. This program will take place at the same time as our Preschool Story Time and is perfect for older siblings! Homeschoolers are welcome. Registration requested.

Baby Time: Thursdays, September 16, 23 and 30 at 10:30 am. Babies, ages 6 to 23 months, and their parents or a caregiver are invited to Baby Story Time! Babies will enjoy simple stories, nursery rhymes and songs in English and Spanish. Registration is requested. Funded by the Friends of the Bridgeton Public Library.


Jazz Vespers Concert

National Worship Leader Conference

The NWLC is a time for renewal and to get new ideas. Beyond the general sessions, and nights of worship, the NWLC offers worship leaders and pastors and volunteers the training they need in workshops.


Experience the Estuary Celebration

The Experience the Estuary Celebration is an annual fundraising event held at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. It will benefit the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a nonprofit organization working to restore the Delaware River and Bay. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors doeuvres, and dinner. There will also be opportunities to bid on auction items while enjoying Adventure Aquariums Shark Realm tank.

This year's theme is The Delaware River: A National Treasure, to celebrate all that makes this region worthy of protection.
